Are you an experienced leader with a technical background who wants to help shape a modern production environment? As Head of Production Technology at ArtaPlast, you will play a key role in leading the Production Technology department. You will be responsible for driving the department forward, developing working methods, and creating the best conditions for an efficient and sustainable production.

About the role
You will lead the Production Technology department with full managerial responsibility for six employees. The department consists of staff specialising in automation and set-up. It has a central role within the company and is responsible for ensuring the operation and optimisation of production equipment, including automation solutions and injection moulding machines.
You will drive improvement and development projects within your area. You plan the daily work of your department in close collaboration with other departments in engineering and production. You also maintain broad contacts both internally and with external partners. You report to the Plant Manager, and the position is based in Tyresö.

Responsibilities
Your main areas of responsibility as Head of Production Technology:
– Ensure the operation of the company’s production equipment.
– Responsible for tooling and optimising automation systems and injection moulding machines.
– Work closely with other technical departments and production planning to minimise downtime and ensure continuous production.
– Lead and actively contribute to development and improvement projects within your area of responsibility.
– Actively promote energy-saving measures across the company.

Key Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has/is:
– Proven experience in leading, motivating, and developing teams.
– Technical education and/or at least 5 years of experience in process industry with high demands, such as injection moulding, automation, or other similar manufacturing industries.
– Strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
– Proficiency in German is considered an advantage.
